Sales: quotes, pipeline and follow-up

Sales in Stackap Business covers the pipeline, quotes with public acceptance links, and scheduled follow-ups for leads, quotes, completed jobs and overdue payments.

What it does

A quote can be drafted from a survey with AI assistance, sent as a link the customer opens without signing in, and tracked through its lifecycle until it is accepted, declined or expires. An accepted quote can create a job. Quotes were tested for race conditions and for rejecting records that point at another business's data.

Follow-up is a set of scheduled jobs rather than something a person has to remember. The software runs jobs that nudge new leads, follow up on open quotes, chase sales opportunities, contact customers after a job, remind people about unpaid invoices every day, and re-engage customers who have gone quiet.

Attribution connects the sale back to its source. Tracked clicks and website visits are matched to leads, and conversions can be verified by hand, so spending on a channel can be compared with what that channel actually produced.

How it works

Where this stands

Stackap Business is working software for running a service business, with its capabilities documented from the code. It is being brought onto the Stackap platform, so an outside agent can operate it with the same scoped tokens, approvals and API that Stackap Cloud uses. That work is in progress. The pipeline, quotes and follow-up jobs run inside the business software today. An agent reaching them through the Stackap API is not yet available.

This is where the agent model matters most. "Follow up with everyone who has not paid" is one sentence from a person and a long list of lookups, messages and judgment calls underneath. The follow-up jobs exist already; the work in progress is giving an agent a safe, approved way to start, change and read them.

Questions

Can an agent send a quote today?
Not through the Stackap API. The in-product agent can create and send quotes inside the business software, but outside agent access is in progress.
Does it handle e-signatures on quotes?
Quotes open as a public link. Signing agreements uses the documents capability, which has native e-signature.

Stackap is in early access. Tell us what you run and we will reply with a straight answer about whether it fits.
