Stackap Business
Stackap Business is the operating stack for a service business: customers, sales, communications, scheduling, finance, workforce, marketing and documents, connected end to end.
What it does
This is not a CRM with extras. By the numbers, roughly a tenth to a fifth of the software is traditional CRM. The rest is scheduling and field operations, a communications hub, a double-entry accounting ledger, payroll and HR workflows, documents with native e-signature, an SEO and reputation engine and an AI agent layer. About 1.1 million lines of code, 782 API routes and 73 scheduled jobs sit behind it.
What makes it one system rather than ten products is a single chain of records. A lead becomes a conversation, then a qualified prospect, a quote and a booking. The booking becomes a job, with labor and materials, an invoice and a payment. The payment flows to payroll and the books, which produce profitability, which triggers follow-up and a review request, which produces the repeat customer.
The system acts as well as records. Follow-ups go out on a schedule, recurring bookings generate themselves, review requests send after a job, payouts run weekly, and an in-product AI agent with 175 tools can read and change records on a person's behalf.
How it works
Stackap Business is working software for running a service business, with its capabilities documented from the code. It is being brought onto the Stackap platform, so an outside agent can operate it with the same scoped tokens, approvals and API that Stackap Cloud uses. That work is in progress. Today an outside agent cannot call these capabilities through the Stackap API. Catalog and data copies of the production database have been verified against the original, and the unification work continues.
The capabilities, one page each:
- CRM and sales: customers, leads, deals, quotes and follow-up.
- Communications: SMS, email, voice, web chat and internal messaging with one history per customer.
- Scheduling and operations: bookings, recurring work, jobs and field teams.
- Finance, workforce and commerce and payments: the money side.
- Marketing, documents and automation.
Cleaning is the deepest vertical, because most of the trade-specific code was written for it. Towing, pest control, salons and laundry run on it too, with less depth. It is not general-purpose enterprise software: there are no purchase orders, no multi-warehouse inventory and no manufacturing.
Early-access scope
- Not yet reachable through the Stackap API, tokens and approvals. That integration is in progress.
- Contacts and conversations are stored in several parallel structures inside the software. Normalizing them into one customer record is part of the unification work.
- Depth varies by vertical. Cleaning is proven the most; the others should be checked against your needs before you rely on them.
- No general workflow or rules builder. Automation today is code that Stackap maintains, not rules you design.
